Ground beef Chow Mein recipe 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 cup celery, diced 1/2 teas. salt 1/4 teas. pepper 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup water 1 cup chow mein vegetables 1 small can of mushrooms, drained 3 cups cooked white rice Chow mein noodles Brown ground beef, onions and celery until beef in browned and celery tender, not mushy. Drain off fat. Add water, salt, pepper, soy sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add vegetables, mushrooms, then stir, add soup. Mix together, simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve over white rice. Topped with Chow Mein noodles. Delicious!
